Q: What does the inside look like? Is it a simulated brick interior? 

A1: Yes, it’s kinda look “painted” bricks in that they look clean & shiny. The burning woods look very real

Q: Is the width tapered ? As in the width in the front is larger than the width in the back ? Can someone post the picture of the side of fireplace ? 

A: Yes the front is larger than the back. It’s like a cone kind of an idea. I’ll see if we can take it out to take a picture of it. 

Q: Can it be used outside on the patio in a wooden box 

A1: absolutely ... I was quite impressed by the quality of this fireplace ... it would look great outside in a box

A2: I am sure that it could be...I returned this though because I thought the flames looked very fake. 

Q: Do it come with a plug? Or no?

A1: Yes it does

A2: Yes it did came ready to be plugged in to the electrical outlet

Q: does the controls stay on the screen at all time or can they be turned off?

A1: The controls stay on the screen. It can't be turned off.  

A2: If you have the fireplace powered on the control are normally lit.
